Our Story
We are Girl Scout Cadettes from Troop 41639, and for our Silver Award, we chose a project that brings generations together. Our mission is to connect senior citizens with local schools through a program we call Senior school connection—because we believe that when generations share wisdom, stories, and support, they truly make life better for everyone.
Sylvia is a 9th grader at Lake Washington High School, and enjoys dancing and reading. This project means a lot to hear because when she was in Kindergarten, her Grandmother read to her every day. She hopes that everyone will be able to benefit from this project.
Caroline is a 8th grader in Kirkland middle school. She lover to read ever since her grandpa read her the first book she remembers, (the book with no pictures). She cant wait to see how people will benefit with this project,
